Different Types of Dog Accessories

There are many kinds of dog accessories available in market. Many people use dog collars when a dog owner goes to walk with it or police use it to find their criminals. Dog seat-belt is used when you carry your dog in a car. It works like a seat-belt and secures your dogs safety. It also ensures that your dog will behave properly while enjoying the ride and prevents him from hitting the hard interior of your vehicle when there is a sudden stop. A belly belt or band will save your furniture, carpets and floors from the damage of dog urine. It will also save you a lot of the frustration of cleaning up though it will not stop your dog from urine. However, these are only some examples of using dog accessories in different situations. It is all up to you when and how you will use which type of accessory. Only keep it in mind that the belt is not hurting your sweet dog.

Clearly Speaking to Your Dogs – a Big Help to Us Vets

One of the things they teach as vets is how to clearly speak with a dog. Many veterinarian schools think the most important thing when dealing with any animal is making sure you can clearly give your dog directions. This makes dealing with the animal so much easier.

You should properly talk with your dog during workout sessions. You have to give consistent and clear signals whenever you do dog training. Your verbal commands and the body language, combined with the rewards you allow out, really should remain consistent. Focus on what your doing and saying too. His behavior or demeanor can be a clue into whether he’s prepared to use you as a guide or maybe he’s overly tired.

Since us vets are not the owners we are at the whim of the owners. If they’ve done they’re job properly then it makes our dealings with their animals much much easier in the end.

Rosie Meets His Master

Our chicken coop was made with simple chicken coop plans. However, these plans didn’t take into consideration a rooster named Rosie. He was one rooster with a very bad habit.

He attacked you whenever you went in the chicken coop. I was only 10, and Rosie was a young rooster about 1. I really liked him. But I was very, very scared of him.

I always took a big stick with me when I went in the coop. I would pound the dirt to scare him off. Sometimes I had to hit him with the stick to scare him away. You see, he had 3-inch spurs on his legs. If he landed them on my leg, it would leave a large gash. This possibility was really scary.

One day I entered the chicken coop with my stick and a basket to put the eggs in. But this time Rosie was successful. He aimed and hit his mark, my leg. I went in tears to my grandfather to show him what Rosie had done.

With an angry look, my grandfather took the ax, and he went in the direction of the chicken coop. Let’s just end by saying Rosie met his master that day! I never saw him again.
