Mrs. AIBK does everything that needs doing around here. The simple truth is that we would be living like feral cats if it were not for her. From her we get manners, grace, poise and regular hot meals. She does our laundry, accepts us for who we are are (but pushes us to be more), and laughs at our fart jokes (sometimes). Mrs. AIBK has used the outhouses at Salsipuedes, brought us sandwiches at the beach, and done the chores while we surf. She deserves a medal but on any given day she gets grief instead. Raising four kids and a possibly retarded (certainly infantile) adult can't be easy and is definitely messy. There is no way we could adequately express our gratitude in one day.
So Kate, please try to remember, while you are cleaning up the huge mess we made cooking your breakfast this morning, that we love you very much and we know it would be Lord of the Flies up in here without you. On behalf of the entire AIBK staff, I want to sincerely thank you for everything you do for us and wish you a most excellent Mothers Day.
And to all you Moms out there who have raised or are raising beach rats; happy Mothers Day to you too.
